Hi, I'm Catherine, the maker and teacher behind Silverworks Studio.
After 19 years teaching Design and Technology, I wanted to combine my love of making with the part of teaching I have always enjoyed the most, helping people learn new skills and seeing the pride they have in something they've created themselves.
Alongside my workshops, I design and handcraft my own collections of sterling silver jewellery, with some pieces also made to order. I love creating jewellery with a handmade feel, where no two pieces are ever quite the same.
Through my workshops, I get to share that process with others, teaching traditional silver jewellery making techniques in a relaxed, friendly setting and helping you create something that is completely your own.
